The Yanagisawa WO Series is the result of many years of research and development. As we have come to expect from Yanagisawa, they are always innovating and remaining at the forefront of technology.

The Yanagisawa A-WO20 has replaced the well-known A992 Series.

What are the Yanagisawa WO Series improvements?

• Front F Key:  Redesigned the Front F key for a better fingering
• Right side key: additional feet under the right side key levers ( Bb, C, and high E) for a better touch 
• Better right pinky key angle for smoother fingering
• New neck plate for the tightening of the sound
• New palm key plate for added high range resonance, acoustic depth and projection accross all registers
• A newly designed engraving
• Redesigned stylish case featuring a compartment on the outside for accessories and a new backpack design

Please Note: Traditional manufacturers of BrassWind instruments have always been skeptical of the dampening effect that lacquer can have on sonority. Recently some saxophone producers have introduced Unlacquered models of their well known Professional instruments. Our experience here is that they generally blow more vibrantly and freely than their lacquered counterparts, certainly an advantage to the discerning player
