A new brand of mouthpieces has been added to our collection, SR Technologies.
SR Technologies are designed to meet the most exacting performance demands of contemporary saxophonists. They are made by a computer controlled mill to a tolerance of 0.0001 inches. None of the critical dimensions are cut by hand. This creates a uniformity of product unachievable in mouthpieces which are finished with handwork. A 21st century manufacturing technique which responds beautifully in all registers of the saxophone.
The SR Technologies Alto Legend mouthpieces are based on the design of classic "New York" mouthpieces. The Legend 85 tip opening is .085 inches/2.16 mm. Computer machined from Zelux-M, a polycarbonate resin which is similar to the material used in bullet proof windows, they are virtually unbreakable. The Legend is an extremely versatile mouthpiece, good for jazz and lead alto. The SR Alto Legend 85 is complete with Rovner Ligature and Cap,
